AUG is a ‘new’ heavy rock band but consists by members that have been around in that kinda of scene for many years and played with many major acts such as Dokken, White Lion, L.A.Guns and Trixter to name a few.

Straight from the heart, raw and soul wrenching rock and ballads with strong melodies and true stories. Pure musicianship, honest and thought provoking. the songs say what we all feel but don’t speak of. a work of art.

There have been all sorts of concept albums released over the years — with just as many great concepts. A trip into the drug induced nightmare of a spoiled rocker, a criminal mastermind who brainwashes a kid into committing many murders of politicians, a man going through a psychotic experience as he cares for his grandmother, and many more. However, there’s never been one from a first person account of dying… until now. Mick James’s Mick James Is Dead is just that, a sleaze rock home video of the artist’s tragic demise.

On July 4 release the melodic hard rock band Chrome Public a self titled EP which will contain the following tracks:

Neopera, founded in 2010 by Jörn Schubert (Dark Age), combines rough and finest metal with elements of classical music. Dominant guitars, aggressive shouts and impelling beats unite with classical vocals and orchestral arrangements. When Jörn chose Nina Jiers and Thorsten Schuck as singers for the band, his project took more and more shape. For debut album DESTINED WAYS the band was also supported by Dirk Schlächter (Gamma Ray, bass), Corvin Bahn (Crystal Breed, orchestral arrangements), André Schumann (Dark Age, drums) und Eike Freese (Dark Age, shouts, production) as well as by Mirko Gluschke (ex-Dead End Circle, shouts).

Compilation of some of the best of the band’s work from 1991 to the present.
Also includes the exclusive brand new song ‘Origins’. This is sure to appeal to existing fans of all eras of the band, as well as serving as a great introduction for anyone discovering Landmarq for the first time.

One thing can be said about Aviator Shades: they know what makes great rock and roll.

In 2014, Jamison decided to cut his own version of the iconic song and, to be quite honest, it is vocally very similar to Bickler’s take on the trrack, although I have long preferred Jamison’s slightly gruffer vocals to those of Bickler, and the same holds true here.

Below you can check out the band’s A Girl a Gun and their recently released debut EP “Head Up, Above the Clouds”. Among the influences you can for example find The Black Crowes and Led Zeppelin.
