His Grandfather played and owned almost every instrument there was.Very fond memories of going to his grandfathers house was especially his music room.

Maid of Mettle is an original, symphonically influenced, female-fronted metal band. Lyricist and lead vocalist Deanna Whalen writes about everything from insomnia, child abuse and addiction to religious wars and spiritual enlightenment but always about real life experiences. Deanna studied Bel Canto/ Italian Opera style singing for 8 yrs and uses her well rounded tones in every line of her vocal expressions as she delivers her messages with power, control and passion.
