Doom metal is an extreme form of heavy metal music that typically uses slower tempos, low-tuned guitars and a much “thicker” or “heavier” sound than other metal genres. Both the music and the lyrics intend to evoke a sense of despair, dread, and impending doom.
After the departure of vocalist Pepe Belda more doom and orientation of new compositions of TSC, Julian Velasco, Tano Gimenez, Miguel Fernandez and the new vocalist Isabel Sierras decide to change the band name to one that better reflects the duality of the new compositions, denser, heavier, more doom, but also more melodic, as a result of new voices and new influences that have been acquired.
