Great news for fans of Great White as recordings from the band that predated the group — Dante Fox — will be seeing the light of day. Dante Fox‘s The Roots of Great White 1978-1982 will be released via Cleopatra Records on October 25, 2019.

Los Angeles rockers Angeles consisting of lead guitarist Dale Lytle, lead vocalist Gwendolyn Casella, drummer Danny Basulto and bassist Mark Ludmer have released a album Fire It Up.

2019 with Cherry Red Records to reissue his back catalogue, Ken spent some time on camera to discuss all three of his solo albums recorded for Bronze with renown rock journalist, Malcolm Dome.

Sown from the seeds of two midlands bands, Finders Keepers, featuring Mel Galley (guitar/vocals), Dave Holland (drums) and Glenn Hughes (bass/vocals), plus the Montanas’ John Jones (vocals/trumpet) and Terry Rowley (keyboards/guitar/flute), Trapeze were discovered by 60s beat supremos The Moody Blues, and snapped up for their own label, Threshold Records.

-The “aficionados” of the AOR genre will be well aware of Timothy Lewis for when he occupied the vocalist-seat as a part of cult AOR-act, Departure.But what really shines on its own is Timothy’s solo material, previously recorded: his original self-financed promo-CD featured eight tracks of the kind of AOR that dreams are made of, lush harmonies, incisive keyboards and amazing guitar solos.

All the material (12 songs, in total) has been carefully remastered from the original master-tapes and it will be released (as usual) in a gorgeous 16 pages booklet, with many band’s pics and the complete story of the band written by UK journalist (and Rock legend) Rob Evans.

Anvil consisting of lead guitarist / lead vocalist Lips, drummer Robb Reiner and bassist Chris Robertson will be releasing their new studio album Legal At Last via AFM Records on February 14, 2020.

Afraid of Sunlight was the band’s eighth studio album and their final release on EMI. The two new editions will be a 4CD+blu-ray set which includes a new stereo mix and a 5.1 surround mix and and a 5LP vinyl collection.

The covers of the two albums were idealized by artist “Joey Polycarpo” (known musically as Joey Summer), who worked with well-known names in the genre as the “A.O.R”. project “Frederic Slama”, “Goran Edman”, “Chasing Violets” and many others, where the same had a large number of sales being cited as featured in the magazine “BURRN!”.
