On January 31, 2020, the melodic hard rock band The Ragged Saints releases their second studio album “Sonic Playground Revisited” via the company AOR Heaven. The disc will contain the following songs:

The album was written by singer Conor Gaffney, guitarist Lawrence O’ Brien, bassist Matthew Quigley and drummer Scott Hanlon in Glasgow and recorded at Vale Studios in the Midlands with renowned rock musician, writer and producer Toby Jepson (Wayward Sons, Gun, Little Angels).

Choirboys are an Australian hard rock from Sydney formed in 1979. They released “Fireworks” in 1986 and their second album “Big Bad Noise” in 1989. Digitally remastered re-issue from Bad Reputation with 7 bonus tracks.

Fighter was a Melodic AOR Christian Rock band based in IOWA and was led by Amy Wolter who was also the principal songwriter. They played arena style rock such as Def Leppard and Journey with hooks and melodies galore.

hough it’s fair to say that with their pretty boy good looks and make-up, their glam leaning roots would make them a big influence on the “hair-metal” bands of the mid-1980s, but not necessarily with the then more prevalent denim & leather brigade of the NWOBHM crowd.

Disc One includes three bonus tracks; their cover of the Kinks classic, ‘You Really Got Me’, ‘Love Is A Game’, written by Russ Ballard and the original, ‘Little Miss Ann’. As a further bonus, Girl’s concert at the Exposition Hall, Osaka, Japan in May 1982 on their final tour is included on Disc Two.
