Swiss-Italian progressive metal masters Virtual Symmetry will release their sophomore full-length album “Exoverse” on June 30th, 2020.

“Black Soul Vendetta” features 13 new songs, including the hit-singles, “Dream Evil” and “Chasing the Pain”, the latter a collaboration with former Slash and Alice Cooper vocalist, Eric Dover.

Avatar reunited with producer Jay Ruston (Stone Sour, Slipknot, Anthrax) at Sphere Studios in Los Angeles, California, where the foundation for each song on “Hunter Gatherer” was laid with the band performing altogether, as they’d done only once before, on “Hail the Apocalypse” (2014).

The first volume of the double offering – entitled “Dealing with Demons I” – is set for release on October, 9th, 2020, via Napalm Records and will be available in several formats.

fellow Yes alum Steve Howe, Ian Anderson, Jean-Luc Ponty, Billy Cobham, Chick Corea, Steve Morse, Rick Derringer, Jonathan Cain, and the Tower of Power Horns are just a few of the guests on “1000 Hands”.

Produced by Alan Nimmo, Jonny Dyke and Liam McCluskey at Morsecode Studios in Glasgow, the new album is co-written by Alan Nimmo (guitar, lead vocals), Zander Greenshields (bass), Jonny Dyke (keyboards), Andrew Scott (drums), with all lyrics co-written by Alan Nimmo and newest member Stevie Nimmo (guitar).

Dokken fans are in for a treat as some lost songs from frontman Don Dokken‘s early years will be seeing the light of day. The new Dokken album is titled The Lost Songs: 1978-1981 and will be available via Silver Lining Music on August 28, 2020. The album can be pre-ordered via a number of different outlets.
