On May 28, the melodic rock band Midnite City will release their new album “Itch You Can’t Scratch” via the company Roulette Record. The first single “Crawlin In The Dirt” will be released on Friday, January 22nd.
They experimented with hazy soundscapes, sizzling riffs, whacky organs, infectious melodies, all combined with an undeniably DeWolff sound. As they create haunting melodies with ’70s soul funk, psychedelic sounds and southern rock, driving toward the horizon with sunglasses and the top down, they seem like the liberators of funky groove.
Reissued on CD is the 1980 debut-album by pre-FM outfit Wildlife. This edition comes with remastered audio and a 16-page full-colour booklet.
