Original Sin is a concept album performed by Pandora’s Box and produced by Jim Steinman. Steinman wrote the majority of this album, although there are a couple of cover versions. It was the group’s only album, and was a commercial flop.
There’s a mix between the ’80s and some of what would come on the next Asia album, a blend of melodic rock with Asia’s typical sound. As said, the sound quality from this Japanese Blu-SpecCD is top notch.
Originally released in 1994 following a 14 year-long break up, Hell Freezes Over celebrates its 25th anniversary with a remastered reissue. The album has been lovingly remastered by Bob Ludwig. It contains four studio tracks and eleven tracks recorded live in April 1994 for MTV.
