Classic rock is a radio format which developed from the album-oriented rock (AOR) format in the early 1980s. In the United States, the classic rock format features music ranging generally from the late 1960s to the late 1980s, primarily focusing on commercially-successful hard rock, blues rock, and arena rock popularized in the 1970s.

Exile – Keeping It Country (1980/1990) (Reissue of ‘Don’t Leave Me This Way’)

The title of this reissue is quite misleading. “Keeping It Country” is in fact an exact reissue of Exile’s 1980 album titled “Don’t Leave Me This Way” but it predates the releases of the 1980’s when they enjoyed a more sustained wave of success as a country band. One would presume Curb Records decided to rename the 1990 cd release “Keeping It Country” for commercial reasons.

Trapeze – (Cherry Red CD Full Boxset) 2020, 8 CDs


Re-release of the third album of the legendary classic rock band Trapeze around bassist and singer Glen Hughes, who replaced Roger Glover in 1974 on Deep Purple. It was originally released in 1972 on Thrashold Records, the band-owned label of The Moody Blues. As a bonus, CD2 and CD3 present live recordings of a concert in Houston, Texas, and Radio 1 recordings. Completely remastered and with extensive booklet.
