Blues is the name given to both a musical form and a music genre that originated in African-American communities of primarily the “Deep South” of the United States around the end of the 19th century from spirituals, work songs, field hollers, shouts and chants, and rhymed simple narrative ballads.

This disc may be the best rock’n’roll record I’ve bought in recent years. Just like The Head Cat covern the Detroit Cobras old Blues and RnR numbers, often just little-known, and that is what makes the charm of the band. Elvis, Chuck and Cherry can Each covern, but make the effort and get out looking really rare numbers and play, takes courage, passion, art and a lot of love, and of course there knowledge of the music.
