Blues is the name given to both a musical form and a music genre that originated in African-American communities of primarily the “Deep South” of the United States around the end of the 19th century from spirituals, work songs, field hollers, shouts and chants, and rhymed simple narrative ballads.

Roadhouse (UK) ‎– Sea Of Souls (2008)

 

Rock & Reel Magazine wrote about this album: “Roadhouse are clearly keen to make up for lost time. The London-based blues rockers now front three female vocalists and surprisingly, it works, with the singers taking it in turns on House Of The Rising Sun, The Lying Game and Tumbling Down to pitch for the kind of damaged souls who inhabit the small hours”.

Roadhouse (UK) ‎– Broken Land (2006)

Not be confused with the short lived hard rock band (1990-92) with Pete Willis of Def Leppard.
This also UK based Roadhouse is lead by guitarist, singer and song writer Gary Boner. Formed in the early 1990’s they are still very active having performed at more than 2,000 live shows. The band has so far made at least 16 album releases.
