Detonated out of their home town of Luton, this fresh faced quintet blend the dramatic flair of early Funeral For A Friend with the soaring pop nouse of Young Guns and My Chemical Romance. For every foot stamping chorus there is a majestic riff… for every infectious groove there is a lifting melody. Like Jimmy Eat World mashed into Thrice, this is intelligent, passionate music.
Formed in 2009, the band have already made their mark on the increasingly bright and exciting UK scene, having headlined the BBC Introducing Stage at this year’s Love Luton Festival, played shows with Enter Shikari, We are The Ocean, Young Guns, Deaf Havana, Don Broco, My Passion (and more) and been the first band EVER to play live on a BBC Introducing show.

The Killers are apparently Mitt Romney’s favourite contemporary rock band, or at least the only one it is safe for the presidential candidate to mention. Like Conservative politicians in Britain, Republicans are at a disadvantage when it comes to advertising their music taste, at risk of being denounced by alternative bands unwilling to be associated with right-wing ideologies. The Killers, however, have proved unusually gracious.
