Be Bop Deluxe – At The BBC (1974-1978) [2013, DVD]

Over at the Bill Nelson forum there’s naturally a big buzz going on about it, and Bill says : “Regular Dreamsville citizens will know that I flagged this one up a while ago. I’ve written some sleeve notes for the package and recently approved the artwork.

The really special thing about it is disc 4 which will be a DVD of all Be Bop’s ‘Whistle Test’ appearances plus the much sought after ‘Sight and Sound In Concert’ tv show. Whilst bootlegs of these tv appearances have been circulating for some years, their picture and sound quality has been extremely poor. This new official release contains digitally restored videos sourced directly from the BBC masters
