European musician ALEN BRENTINI is releasing today his new album “Point Of No Return“, a collection of 12 hard rocking tunes influenced by the classic era from the genre with a modern feel.
Guitar player, singer, songwriter, producer and touring musician, Alen has been involved in many projects since the last three decades, such as recording on hard rockers Wolfpakk fourth album and Michael Voss’ 2021 solo album, he was part of the Eric Martin touring band, and currently is a member of American band About Kings. Recently, Alen went on tour in the U.S. with singer Keith St John (Lynch Mob, Kingdom Come).
“Point Of No Return” is guitar driven album – endorsed by Ibanez Guitars, Alen is a virtuoso player – but also an accomplished vocalist with classic melodic register. Musically the album mix the current Euro melodic hard rock sound with American hard in the vein of George Lynch recent projects like The end Machine.
We find heavy tracks like ‘Victims of Fear’, the title track, or the groovy ‘Letter from Your Disease’, while on the more melodic side there’s the catchy ‘Bad Blood’, ‘Freedom is My Belief’, and ‘Devil in Your Arms’. There’s also place for a ballad, in the form of the intense ‘As Long as I Live’.
Very well recorded and produced by himself, “Point Of No Return” is a strong record by this capable musician. Especially if you like guitar-driven hard rock with melody and a modern sound, Alen Brentini’s new album will please your ears.
