As requested by many, here’s a high quality vinyl-rip of AC/DC fourth album 1977 LP “Let There Be Rock“, in its original Australian pressing.
The international release has dissimilar track list, also other cover artwork. Many fans largely prefer this original 1977 Australian version, including the great song “Crabsody in Blue”, while a different version of “Go Down” was used. Released via Albert Productions records, the first pressing vinyl has blue center labels and the famous kangaroo logo on it.
“Let There Be Rock” is one of our favorite AC/DC albums. The near-epic title track to what is widely regarded as the best Bon Scott-era album, the song contains some of the most blistering guitar work ever committed to tape by the Young brothers. And we have that immortal bridge: “Let there be light, and there was light… Let there be sound, and there was sound… Let there be drums, and there was drums… Let there be guitar, and there was guitar… Let there be rock!”
This is an electrifying, brutal record. It has a bit of a bluesier edge than other AC/DC records, but this is truly the sound of the band reaching its peak. Indeed, you feel that “Hell Ain’t a Bad Place to Be,” and then there’s the monumental “Whole Lotta Rosie.”
This vinyl-rip is fabulous, “Let There Be Rock” belongs to vinyl, and blows out of the water any CD / digital release.
