Philadelphia’s Best Kept Secret throughout the mid 80s / early 90s, RADIO CITY consistently sold out shows, winning the respect of their contemporaries around town, which was a hotbed of talent at the time, those friendly rivals being bands such as Cinderella, Teeze / Roughhouse, Heaven’s Edge and others. RADIO CITY’s brand of slick AOR my have been just a little late to the major label party however, as things turned a little sleazier and louder and, as we all know, the best don’t always get the brass ring.
