The film draws on candid interviews with band members and Brian Jones’s close associates, as well as unique archival footage. The documentary explores Jones’s musical talents and his influence on the early years of The Rolling Stones. Particular attention is paid to the personal and psychological aspects of his life, conflicts with his bandmates, his destructive lifestyle, and the circumstances of his death in 1969.
