ANTHONY CORDER (Tora Tora) – Sunday Sunset Sessions (2024)

Back in the pandemic days, TORA TORA frontman & songwriter ANTHONY CORDER began playing some of his songs on Youtube, he and his acoustic guitar, and fans loved it. Then the idea to properly record the songs arose, and Corder started to put these on iTunes as standalone singles.

Requests for live shows arrived from all places, and ANTHONY CORDER started to travel all over the States. Several dates with the likes of Trixter, George Lynch, Frank Hannon and other colleagues, as well as solo shows followed, including Monsters of Rock Cruise performances. More songs were recorded, some of them in legendary Nashville studios.

Now “Sunday Sunset Sessions” packs all these ANTHONY CORDER recordings, just the man and his guitar, and it’s very good stuff. Some tracks are big in production, others are rawer, stripped, both types work very well.
Corder revisits Tora Tora favorites such as As Time Goes By, Walkin’ Shoes, Time and the Tide, alongside with new songs. His voice is in top form, and that raspy rockin’ vibe is intact.
