Skinflint – Skinflint (2018)


Skinflint is a three piece Heavy Metal band from Gaborone, Botswana. They have incorporated elements from African culture with Heavy Metal music, attracting the attention of international media. Their releases Iklwa, Gauna, Dipoko and Nyemba pay homage to ancestral beliefs and African spirituality, while still playing in the vein of Traditional Heavy Metal. The band has headlined shows across Africa, and enjoyed successful tours as far as Sweden.

Thirteen is the thirteenth solo album by Australian singer/songwriter James Reyne. (11 studio albums and 2 live albums). released on 16 March 2012. Reyne co-wrote tracks with producer Scott Kingman and Tim Henwood (from The Androids).

Mike Campese – Chapters 2016


The album kicks off with the aggressive, acoustic guitar slap of “The Quake of Laviano”, that is inspired from an earthquake that hit several years ago in Laviano, Italy, the Italian region of Campania. This is particularly close to Mike as he lost several relatives in the tragic earthquake while they where attending a cliff side wedding.

Mike Campese is back with a new solo release, titled “Chameleon”. This is Mike’s 8th solo Cd, it contains 12 new tracks and it is a little over 60 minutes. This Cd really packs a punch, If you heard Mike’s previous Cd’s you will realize that he has really honed his writing and musicianship.

American guitarist and composer best known for being a member of the multi-platinum group Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Campese was picked over several guitarists in 2004 during the band’s fourth CD, The Lost Christmas Eve, and received a gold record for his work.

Off The Edge – Unfinished Business 2002


South Africa has already come up with some very good Melodic Rock bands and Off The Edge surely is another one. The band was founded in the early 80’s and is still active today with a number of released albums. The vocals are fantastic, some of them female (different singers due to a few line-up changes).
