Through These Walls – Time Is a Storm (2016)

1468937750_002aRock n’ Roll should be dangerous, sexy, and full of mystery. Through These Walls embody these attributes to create loud, roaring, poetic music that crosses over multiple genres. High energy performances paired with a commitment to making authentic art, TTW’s sound can be described as Heavy Rock with slices of Melodic Metal, and Alternative Rock.

Bob Wheeler – Bob Wheeler (1987)

bobBand / solo project from Syracuse, New York. Their style floats around the early Bon Jovi, Icon, Journey, of course, less accomplished. Songwriting isn’t stellar, not bad either, Bob’s vocals do the job and you can find some nice riffing and keyboard twirls. Indie production recorded between Dec ’86 / feb ’87, this is a hard to find collector’s item. Some time after, Wheeler would be the vocalist of Eklypse, another one album only-band rarity.

Zahalan – Zahalan 1990

ZAHALAN_ZThis one is certainly a Holy Grail for David Foster fans. Released in 1990 only in Canada this CD contains 2 noteworthy tracks. “Letting Go” was produced by David Foster and features Danny Peck on harmony vocals as well as David Boruff on sax. This is the classic “David Foster sound” that I miss since David seems to be producing a totally different sound these days.

The Poor (Boys) – Discography – 3 CD – 1992-2009, MP3

The first EP on account of this Australian band, rare rip, the network is almost impossible to find. Children playing perky hard rock, close to the AC-DC, but still not a full copy. “Who Cares” The next album was released in 1994. It can be safely called the best band plate at the moment.

Alexa – Alexa (1989)

alexaApart from her sultry looks, it was the name of Paul Sabu that attracted my attention when I first bought this album (originally released by Savage) in 1989. If you like Sabu’s body of work (and more specific his Only Child period), then you will surely like this “Alexa” album as much. All ten tracks are easy on the ear and were recorded with the help of the musicians that then were band members of Only Child. Alexa is the owner of a strong voice and can easily be called a better version of Lee Aaron.
