Prog Spawn presenting new progressive rock releases was free with Classic Rock Magazine issue #122, August 2008. So far it’s the last cd dedicated to progressive rock featured with Classic Rock Magazine. In 2009 Classic Rock published Classic Rock Presents Prog, which was meant to be a one shot, but the magazine was so successful that it soon evolved into an independent sister publication. After a couple of years the name was shortened to Prog.
