Every East of the Wall full-length, now five and counting, has had a major lineup change roughly at the midpoint of the writing sessions. I’m not sure why – maybe the guys defiled a tomb.

Blackhearth is a project created in Durango (Bizkaia) by drummer Asier Larrea and guitarist Alex Hernández. Initially they worked as a band, consolidating over the years with different changes in training and style.

This band were based in Brandon (Florida), formed by the three Egger brothers and released an hyper rare full length album in 1987, titled “Take A Walk”. This tape seems to be an appetizer for their album, because all the tracks on this demo you can find also on “Take A Wak”. High resolution scans from the cover and tape is included with the file.

Broken Mirrors were formed in 2007, the brainchild of singer/guitarist François Guichard. With a stable line up completed Broken Mirrors began working on four songs, recording their debut EP ‘Beyond the Mirrors’ in April 2008.

For the recording of their third album Jim Matheos and Kevin Moore asked Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree, King Crimson), Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth) and Tim Bowness (No-Man) to participate.
