Album-oriented rock (abbreviated AOR) is an American FM radio format focusing on album tracks by rock artists. AOR evolved from progressive rock radio in the mid-1970s, using research and formal programming to create an album rock format with greater commercial appeal.

TONY LEWIS is probably best known as the voice and bassist for The Outfield. Along with guitarist John Spinks, the two took the ’80s by storm with their infectious songs including “Your Love,” “All the Love,” and “Say it isn’t So.” After Spinks’s untimely passing in 2014, Tony took some time away from music but was eventually inspired to begin work on his first ever solo album: “Out of the Darkness“.

Regarded by both platinum selling pop-rock stars and metal acts as one of their biggest influences, Canadians STREETHEART leave an indelible mark in North America’s contemporary rock music, and still continues pleasing audiences to this day.As requested, here’s one of STREETHEART most celebrated records, their 1982’s self-titled LP “Streetheart“. This is the only CD release the album had until this day, appeared 1997 and only available in Canada.

RANDALL WALLER is a master Australian rock guitarist with a resume that reads like a who’s who of rock ‘n’ roll – AOR fans will remember his ’80s band AVION – but later he has spent most of his career living overseas working with artists like Elton John, Shania Twain, Rose Tattoo, Keith Urban, even the Backstreet Boys! He’s played at the Grammys, the SuperBowl – from Madison Square Garden to Wembley.
