Album-oriented rock (abbreviated AOR) is an American FM radio format focusing on album tracks by rock artists. AOR evolved from progressive rock radio in the mid-1970s, using research and formal programming to create an album rock format with greater commercial appeal.

A NEVERENDING JOHN’S DREAM is a melodic hard rock / AOR band formed in Barcelona in 2022 when Joan M. Heredia (drums, vocal, and composer) teamed up with David Vidal (guitars), Paul E. Schuster (bass) and Xavier Miró (keyboards). Heredia started to play drums, sing and to write songs more than 20 years ago, having played in dozens of bands but so far never has thought about releasing own material until now.

Finally, in 1991, the studio album “Best Before” was released, featuring Josef Piek and Paul Harriman (both Purple Schulz), Peter Kumpf and Matthias Ulmer (both Anyone’s Daughter). Two songs, “This Must Be Everything” and “Traces Of Lovers”, were used as a movie soundtrack (“Manta, Manta”) and received radio airplays and TV appearances by Stytz Syndicate
